Just in case you missed, and I’m not sure how you would missed this, LOL, American Airline merged with U.S. Airways, official announcement will be made this week possibly this Thursday or Friday Feb. 15, 2013. What does this mean? well let’s keep it simple.

Good for the companies both American Airlines and US Airways will make more money a tons of money, and who’s keeping the money? The CEO, the big cheese. The Airlines will maintain its name but it will be run by US Airways owner.

Bad for us all travelers, you will see hike or price increased in airfare and lots of changes and sometime even poor service. Most of the time when there’s a merger, there will be some process changes, employees cross train, and head count reduction, many will become unemployed or salary cut and so on.
