Just in case you missed this, Dwolla can no longer do business with MtGox, or so I understand an article from cnet and many other online tech news. This just happened a couple hours ago, confirmed by cnet. “Homeland Security cuts off Dwolla bitcoin transfers”

So this is the risk. Mtgox the largest Bitcoin exchange in the world. Dwolla, the quickest cheapest most efficient way to move money to mtgox and out of mtgox, well no more! it’s a court order! so there is no way they can do business with each other. So good bye MtGox and good bye Dwolla and off course good bye Bitcoin here in the US. However, one fall, many will rise, I will not be surprise if the BTC Bitcoin value will crash again to probably $20 or so due to this news, that’s right! $20 per BTC in the next coming weeks probably days, and who knows if it goes back up again ever.

Bitcoin miner? you can quit now!, people in USA whoever bought pre-order of Butterfly Labs BFL ASIC, go cancel it, your hardware will be nothing but a piece of metal and silicon, get your money back and go out for a nice dinner with your love one or invest on something that have value later in the future such as gold and silver instead 🙂

OK, so, many probably will not agree with me, because you can say that well dwolla dead, but there are paypal, wire transfer, okpay, and a bunch other like it! Yeah you’re right, but for how long will these services last if dwolla got court order and when will other service get court order also? It’s not “if”, but “when” is the question, could be in the next hours, could be weeks if lucky years 🙂
