kitchenaid refrigerator start relay compressor spark burned on fire smoke everywhere

It turns out my Kitchenaid refrigerator had problem with the compressor, not really the actual compressor but probably the start relay isn’t working to turn on the compressor motor. I checked all the possibilities and researched on many forums, narrowed down to the compressor, then to the start relay module. Anyhow, it’s kind of old 8 years, and was a demo, so it’s better just to buy a new one, if something wrong with this one now and even if it can be fix what will break next? Purchased a new one on order and will get delivered on June 4th with 24 mos no interest Finance charge, awesome! 🙂 Hope will last another decade 🙂
