No power outage in my area after Hurricane Sandy made landfall last yesterday night although hundreds thousand others are not so lucky

Lucky me, however after all the preparation for Hurricane Sandy, it didn’t knock out power in my area or my house at least here in Coatesville Valley Township area. I have not gone outside yet to assess any damage, probably better to that tomorrow than today, school and businesses I believe will resume tomorrow. Below is map from peco as of Tuesday October 30th outage area, I’m the dark blue area but luckily still have power it never gone down at all, just a couple flicker that’s about it, thanks god! Strangely to say though that when we had thunderstorm or lighting, it knock out power, but this hurricane does not, so as a result I think it’s safe to say that new house that have power line buried under ground is safe, however if it connected to an old grid where the power provided from old high power line then it’s a different story, most likely if it get knock down we will get impacted also. Hope all you are safe, at least 16th deaths as of now according to CNN, I believe utility worker are en route to repair electricity and clear road way, thanks to yo all!

Sandy causes at least 16 U.S. deaths
– More than 7 million without electricity
– At least 168 stranded throughout NYC
– Wall Street, NYC subways shut down
– Flood rescues under way in NJ towns
