The good news for Vietnam is that, the Hurricane weakened as it reached mainland, that’s normally happened for all hurricane, the wind died down because it cannot pick up momentum due to the mountain and landscape. However it does brought devastation to Vietnam many killed and the damage were like a atomic bomb being dropped. Over half millions people in Vietnam central and north evacuated to the south or somewhere safe. Will see the next few days see what the aftermath look like.
