A couple days ago I saw great deal on Techbargains.com advertise Staples have great deal, 99 cent for a rubber stamp with free shipping, so I ordered it and did paid 99 cent and transaction went through, I was thrilled. It was simple, just follow direction from techbargains.com and voila 99 cent! wow!
Guess what? today I received an email from Staples as follow:
Thank you for your recent purchase of a custom stamp (3/4” x 1 7/8′), model E4912, sku 341978. Please note that the advertisement for this stamp stated that “Shipping charges apply.” We have identified that your order (order number listed above) is missing the required shipping fees. If you would like 7 day delivery, the shipping charge is $9.95, or you can choose expedited shipping for $13.95. Please call us at 888-333-3199 by Tuesday, January 29th to confirm your desired shipping preference. If we do not hear from you by this date, we will assume that you do not want the order fulfilled and we will issue you a refund within 5-7 business days.

So what do you think happen here? Here is what I think from my wild imagination, techbargains either scam staples or someone from both sides are doing something just to get affiliate money or just to get traffic to both websites techbargains and staples, it is possible and I ‘ve seen it done before, they basically want to gain people into their websites, just as how they would lure you into their store, your chance of being at the store you might as well as buy something else also, not just the item you want, or sometime the item you want is in the back somewhere LOL.
