Do you know that Vatican City is a country and also the smallest country in the world?

Well now you know, it is indeed the smallest country in the world somewhere in the middle of Italy 🙂 but it is its own country! with its population in 2010 was about 900 people or so. Based on wikipedia and about.com indicated its population actually around 800s.

Vatican City i/ˈvætɨkən ˈsɪti/, or Vatican City State,[13] in Italian officially Stato della Città del Vaticano (pronounced [ˈstaːto della t͡ʃitˈta del vatiˈkaːno]),[14] is a landlocked sovereign city-state whose territory consists of a walled enclave within the city of Rome, Italy. It has an area of approximately 44 hectares (110 acres), and a population of just over 800.[5][15] This makes Vatican City the smallest independent state in the world by both area and population.

I am a Roman catholic and I didn’t know this LOL. Indeed Vatican City is the world head quarter for Roman Catholic people, it’s the head quarter for the CIA in the US. Strange this was established in the 1900s and has remained the same since, I believe many have tried to take down Vatican City but was unsuccessful, and so it remain strong.
