What will happen to Bitcoin? the miners the investors the consumers?

Here are my take on the fall of Bitcoin price. There are three groups of people that I categorized. The Miners, are the people whom mine the coins and keep the network healthy. The investors, are the people whom just simply buy Bitcoin and sell it for profit. Then the consumers, this group I think a lot of people would question, really? consumers? Well yes, as more Bitcoin ATM machine are being installed, consumers will the people whome convert their Bitcoin to Cash, Cash to Bitcoin then spend it on products and services just like cash and credit card.

So what will happen?

  1. The miners, at this point are thinking about quiting, quit mining because electricity cost are a lot higher than what they profit mining bitcoin. However if this is not the case, a lot of miner think this way, but they are more inclined to think that there will be a lot of miners thinks that, and so they will hang on to mining, hoping that other miners quit, result hash rate network down and whoever still mining get more coins. So I think the hash rate will not drop, even people are loosing money, but if this goes on for another couple or months where Bitcoin don’t pick up the price back to even $500, then most likely the miners will loose faith and will stop mining due to the loss, no money to pay for electricity.
  2. The investors, at this point, many older investors already drop out by seeing the activities of selling. Some investors held on to their Bitcoin because they don’t want to take a loss. Many purchased at $600 or more when it stabilized at that point, wouldn’t expect it to go down further, but it did to 500, then 400, then now 300. With this trend 100s is inevitable. But wait! when goes down so low, 100s, and there isn’t bad news about it, more new investors will jump in and start to push the price up again.
  3. For the consumers, to me in the Bitcoin communities I would call these group are the people whom spend the Bitcoin, including the merchants that are accepting Bitcoin. This is where I think it gets complicated. Will the people loose faith due to the value of Bitcoin fluctuate so much. Buying one coffee cost .001BTC for example, but the next day, it cost .005BTC, this will discourage the folks whom are using Bitcoin. However the positive side is it keep the momentum of bitcoin going mainstream active. The thing is not too many people know about Bitcoin, when they do it’s a learning experience, from beginners to too confusing then back to norm.

 

Is the end of Bitcoin BTC price expected to drop to $150 or lower in a few weeks

If anyone happens to be in IRC chat room, yes IRC still existing using mIRC or web-base. Join channel like #bitcoin, #bitcoin-pricetalk and so on, you will see some discussion from the expert and the end users and others comments on Bitcoin related topics.

What I’ve been observing in the chat room is that the price of Bitcoin will continue to fall to $150 or lower in a few weeks or so. While the news in regard to Bitcoin BTC activities isn’t much, not much further development on BTC ATM machine, not much development on BTC being accepted, not much going with BTC that would lead to mainstream Bitcoin. So what causes the price of BTC Bitcoin to go down? aside from selling and buying that is. Selling would cause Bitcoin to go down, buying would makes it go up. So we know that! then what causing people to sells their Bitcoin? there isn’t any activities in the Bitcoin world that would cause people to sell?

AH huh! yes there are. A few, and I have to say, more of a speculation rather.

  1. The person whom won that auction of 30,000BTC from the Fed Gov., what did he ever do with the Bitcoin? People can say one thing and does something else, so did he started selling hi Bitcoin slowly and causing the price to drop? again BTC transactions are anonymous.
  2. MtGox, what really happen to those Bitcoin that were loss? did it really get hacked? if yes then what did the hackers did or do with the Bitcoin, they could have sell it little by little at a time causing the price of Bitcoin to go down.
  3. Last but not least, are the giant investors start dumping Bitcoin due to not much development and realized it’s not going mainstream anytime soon to profit so they takes their money and invest on something else better?

As more and more people realize the existent of Bitcoin, they start getting confuses before they can really understand how it work, so maybe at this stage is a learning process. Bitcoin is about 5 years old I believe, since 2008 maybe, and was at pennies per coins, risen up to over $1000 in just few years, then dropped to $500 for a while, then now at $300. The prediction is that it will fall to $150 sooner than expected and that’s where it will really stabilized.

My prediction? well yes, same, it will be at 100s and flat lined there for a very long time. However it could be at $10000 again or at 1 penny, no one know, no one can really predict accurately.

Got hit with an early cold sore throat and small fever

Well, being at home all the time doesn’t mean you’re not going to get a cold flu fever or come in contact with viruses viral outbreak and so on. Chances are you’re going to need to go the store or run some errands, or pumping gas. Yes, all those areas, places, where you can come in contact with a flu cold virus. I don’t think there’s a way to avoid, even at home you would need to accept mail and packages, those could have virus.

I think that’s where I got it from. Although I’m home indoor all the time unless I need to get gas or run some errands that required me to be outside. It was too bad, I had sore throat, scratchy throat the first day and a couple of night, and then I started coughing for a couple days now, and feeling dizzy, tire easily for a couple days, it’s been almost a week already and I’m still not 100% recovered. Nope I didn’t take any medication or change my eating or working or duties around the house habit or routine. I’m hoping it will go away by next week. It almost seems like I got this during the fall before winter hit every year, and then I’m fine for the whole winter season.

 

My ebay experience selling Dogecoins Bitcoin

I listed 3 set of 10,000 Dogecoin for sale on ebay as fixed price. Now I have more than 30,000 Dogecoin, but I just want to test it out to see if any buyer will scam me, chances are there will be, but I will take extra precaution and add to the description +500 Bonus Dogecoin once feedback left. Now my listing description is simple. 10,000 Dogecoin to your wallet, +500 Bonus after feedback left, and off course proof will be from dogechain.info website as proof Dogecoin sent.

I started out with $5 for 10,000 Dogecoin, well that didn’t work, nobody viewing it or buying it. So lower the price to $4, to $3, not much offer, but as I go down to $2.49 oh boy! immediate offers and sold within a few hours.

So I received the payment, and I sent the Dogecoin to the wallet address listed in the paypal note. Then I contact the buyer immediately, and waiting for feed back to send another 500 dogecoin. OK so far two buyer came through, and we’re all happy so far. However I did not feedback the buyer yet, as I’m waiting to see if the buyer will be playing me, even though he/she left me positive feedback, but I’m a little bit concern they may still can contact paypal saying he/she never got the item, even though I can proof via blockchain or dogechain.info, at this time ebay and paypal probably not up to speed on how the blockchain dogechain.info work, as a result they cannot use as proof, so most likely if anyone report, I might be loosing the case. However I’m optimistic that ebay and paypal are exposed to the virtual currencies, they might make exception and based on case by case basis they can determine more intelligently on who’s lying and not, and so hope that the fund didn’t get reversed.

Anyhow, will have more update in the next few days on this subject. I believe paypal buyer have up to 30-45 days to report issue. We will not know for sure until that time frame passed. I hope that ebay and paypal take case by case basis intelligently protecting the seller, not always gear toward the buyer all the time.

Selling crypto coin on ebay? Bitcoin maybe? well how about Dogecoin for start

I’ve been doing crypto currencies mining for a year or more now. I’ve thought of selling it on ebay and probably profit a little bit more on ebay rather than using an exchange to cash. However there is a big risk going selling it through ebay.

First of all, a while back, ebay does not allow any virtual currencies to be listed on its website, not even classifieds, not even mining hardware, but today ebay have a category listing as Virtual Currencies, Contract Mining and so on. So this does tied to Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin right? Well yes and no.

Yes, ebay now allow you sell your virtual currencies on ebay but as classified ads only, meaning you would need to complete the transaction outside of ebay.

No, you cannot list and sell your Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, whatever virtual currencies and sell it using ebay process through paypal. You can still do it, and hope that ebay does not sees it, or someone reporting it, or the buyer scam you by buying and report to paypal that buyer never got the item, which is true because you ship nothing to the buyer, no proof, on top of that Paypal will probably ding you for selling virtual currencies. In the end if the buyer is a scam, he/she will report and chances are paypal will refund the buyer.

Basically there is a risk. You can print out the transaction proof and mail it with tracking # to the buyer and use it as proof, and chances are you can keep the money. But you run the risk of paypal might ding you for selling items that are still questionable legal or illegal. Probably case by case basis.

How to defeat the ISIS or should I say ISHIT?

Lately I’m sure many people, if not all the whole world knows something about the ISIS, how brutal they are and they call themselves religious people, what a joke. I’m guessing they’re taking religious to the next level? Well ok, so many the video footage of the beheaded American journalist was a job of an individual representing the whole ISIS group?

Well, another thing is conspiracies. People questions if the video is authentic, and indeed ISIS were the one whom cut the throat of those American journalist? Some say it’s fake, some say it’s made up. Some believe it’s real, but just to have evidence on why American military would need to destroy ISIS terrorist group.

OK so back to the main question, after knowing ISIS need to be stopped. How do we stop the ISIS? continue what we’re doing today? since the ISIS are using technology, such as facebook, twitter, youtube to post videos or somehow those videos were posted can be traced back to many layers, it can done. And then bomb them all the gate of hell, as how Biden put it “to the gate of hell!” 🙂 Really, destroying ISIS isn’t that difficult, go for the top guy first, the leader, and down to the slaves. Perhaps the slaves can turn around after their leader died.

Google Authenticator Ghash.io Cex.io 2FA Invalid auth code message of death?

Are you having trouble withdrawing your BTC or funds on Ghash.io Cex.io? In fact, even doing any kind of maintenance that required your Google Authenticator would cause issue, basically you can’t sign in, getting that infinite “Invalid auth code” message of death forever and ever. Well it may work a couple days later, if your funds or Bitcoin still exist in Ghash.io or Cex.io

People are loosing faith and trust on Ghash.io according to Bitcointalk forum. People whom invested money on Cex.io are all suckers, unless they have hundreds TH/s invested. People whom mined on Ghash.io in the past yield great result, but not it’s shrinking, and with daily frequent issue with the website interface, down time, and off the forever never ending issue ongoing with “Invalid auth code” so call 2FA Google Authenticator doesn’t work anymore. It almost seems like Ghash.io or Cex.io holding our fund, preventing us from touching it, withdrawing it for that matter.

So it may not be a sync issue at all huh? it potentially be that Ghash.io Cex.io are doing it on purpose so that nobody can withdraw any funds or Bitcoins, or changes access to their account with 2FA enabled? Hmm ok, so what happen if we disabled 2FA? well if you can that is, Ghash.io Cex.io might be playing some other tricks to hold you fund.

Now is this is a selective group of users where Ghash.io Cex.io doing the “Invalid auth code” to? or is it random? or perhaps manually by someone at Cex.io Ghash.io

For everyone whom are using Ghash.io to mine, to be careful, their pool are shrinking, getting smaller and weaker, might want to jump pool before it’s too late.

Unless Ghash.io Cex.io fix the server maintenance issue popping up now and then, and especially fix the 2FA, otherwise people will become more skeptical on the direction ghash.io cex.io are going, not a good sign for ghash.io folks. Be real extra wary about ghash.io cex.io, perhaps stop using them until the fix those important issues where they blamed on our devices, instead of check it on their end to see if anything can be resolved. Whatever it is, need to be fix promptly instead of pointing finger.

Can people make money buying bulk and sell on ebay individual units?

First, let me say that I’ve been doing ebay for a while now and I would like to share my experiences.

  • If you’re a new seller to ebay. Do not go out and spend a ton of money buying bulk items and sell individual units to profit. Instead start with what you have lying around the house, or items that your friends and neighbor give to you for free. Sell those instead of spending money. This to get the hang of it, start out small, don’t spend money, just sell what you have, don’t expect high profit at the beginnings, because there are a lot of fees associated. Paypal Fee, Ebay listing Fee, and the Shipping Fee.
  • Once you get the hang of it, experience a few items sold, getting feedback, communicate with the buyers and so on. Now you can go out and purchase garage sale items at rock bottom price and sell it back on ebay for cheap. However please do research first on how much the value on ebay. Don’t pay $10 and ebay selling it for $14, even with $4, not much profit after the fees. Always check ebay lowest price w/ shipping for the items for comparison.
  • Now you’re ready for buy bulk and sell individual units. First let consider a few options. Try to get ebay monthly fee for the ebay store, this will give you cheaper fees and lots of free listing. Buy a shipping label printer, this will save time and effort getting the merchandise shipped. Buy shipping envelope bubble wrap, if not then go to usps.com and get some free boxes and supplies. Buy shipping tapes, cheap kind. and off course a scale up to 50lbs or higher is good.
  • Lastly do your match. Use ms excel or something similar to calculate your profit. Let say you purchase $1 item, shipping with tracking # will cost $1.93, ebay and paypal fees probably 30 cent for the $1 item. So the cost now is $1.93+$1+$0.30 = $3.23 that’s your cost. So now if you want to profit 50 cent you must add 50 cent to the $3.23, so you get the point. However getting price higher will have less customer buying, but you profit more. If you price lower, you profit less but get more customers but more work shipping constantly. So maybe consider bundle up, instead of individual quantity, maybe do a set of 2, 5, 10, ect … So it’s really up to you.

Final thought, you might have questions how come those other sellers selling stuff so cheap, how do they profit? well the answer is they don’t profit. They loss money on those cheap items. However they gain other benefit such as good feedback and reviews, and make their ebay store looks good for selling future products. If you sell gold and silver, you will run greater risk of being scammed, so don’t sell it to new buyers, however it’s ok to sell to buyer if they agreed to pick up from a local jewelry store certified and pay some fees. Do not list items description that are not true or you’re not sure about, for instant a cell phone work sometime and you said it’s used, might need to include sometime it work sometime it doesn’t, be honest, your ebay will be in good standing.
